Meet The Team
Masura Tidjani
Masura is a Data Research Analyst at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration at Lehman College (CUNY). In addition, she earned a Masters in Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at CUNY’s Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy where she was the valedictorian in the class of 2019. In her current role, Masura conducts quantitative and qualitative research and evaluation to support programming for the Bronx Neighborhood Health Bureau at the Center for Health Equity and Community Wellness, Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
Masura is a public health and food justice advocate. She previously served as the Executive Assistant to the Assistant Commissioner in the Harlem Neighborhood Health Bureau, New York City Department of Health where she coordinated multi-level programs to create a smooth process in planning and implementation of program objectives while tracking the progress of strategic planning. In addition, she served as the coordinator for Partnership to Improve Community Health and oversaw the implementation of the Healthy Eating and Active Living program in community-based organizations in the Bronx.
Prior to joining the Department of Health, Masura served as the Community Engagement Coordinator at Malaria Network Organization in Togo where she implemented a Malaria Prevention program in rural areas of the Northern Togo. She is delighted to be serving on the board of Bronx Eats.
