Gail Schorsch, Founder/Director

Gail is the founder and director of Bronx Eats and the new Fordham Farmers Market at Fordham Plaza. Bronx Eats, Inc. empowers Bronxites through increased access to nutritious local food and plant-based cooking education, promoting health and wellness, cultural diversity, and addressing food disparities. Gail is also passionate about supporting local food businesses and chefs. Bronx Eats aims to change how we eat, live, and interact with each other and the planet. Gail intends for Bronx Eats to build a more equitable, nourishing, and healthy borough with fellow Bronxites. Gail served as site coordinator for Corbin Hill Food Project’s farm share at Lehman College and worked at the New Roots Community Farm on the Grand Concourse in the Bronx.
