Dorothea Nixon, Vice President

Dorothea is the Program Operations Associate at Homes for the Homeless where she has worked for over seven years.  In this role, she ensures that program managers, supervisors and directors maintain programmatic excellence. Dorothea earned a B.A. in Social Psychology from SUNY Potsdam. She also earned a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership at Herbert H. Lehman College, CUNY (2018).  She has a passion for working with children and families with a focus on familial and community advocacy, intervention and service provision.  Dorothea is excited to be serving as the Vice-President of the Bronx Eats Board of Directors and looks forward to continuing to improve the Bronx community through education and wellness programming.
